It has the advantages of both C5 petroleum resin and C9 petroleum resin. It has low acid value, good miscibility, water resistance, ethanol resistance and chemical resistance, chemical stability to acids and alkalis, and good viscosity adjustment and thermal stability. Since the structure does not contain polar groups, it has good water resistance, acid and alkali resistance, weather resistance and light aging resistance. It has good solubility in organic solvents, especially in petroleum solvents, and has good compatibility with other resins. It also has certain brittleness, tackification, adhesion and plasticity. It is generally not used alone, but used as a promoter, regulator, modifier and other resins.
